Scholarship to attend 4th Australian Bee Congress 2022
12 April 2022In conjunction with the AgriFutures Honey Bee and Pollination Advisory Panel (HBPAP) the Australian Honey Bee Industry Council (AHBIC) is proud to invite applications for our 2022 Congress Scholarship program.
There are five (5) scholarships to attend the 4th Australian Bee Congress at Rosehill in Sydney from 8th – 11th June 2022.
AHBIC is encouraging any industry participants, up and coming leaders, students and early career researchers to apply. The scholarships will provide an opportunity for 5 industry participants to attend who would not necessarily be able to attend without this financial assistance.
What’s included
- Earlybird registration for the entire Congress.
- $300 to assist with accommodation and transport.
- Invitation to the ‘Beekeepers Breakfast’ to network with the AHBIC Executive, State Presidents and HBE panel members.
- A ‘champion’ will be assigned to the group to facilitate networking opportunities.
Who is eligible
- Beekeepers or their employees
- Early career honey bee researchers
- Students interested in the honey bee industry
Applicants must
- Be participating in the honey bee industry.
- Be able to fund any additional costs incurred.
- Be able available 8th – 11th to attend.
